I just got up and now I'm exhausted after reading this. It also brought back memories of two very busy time periods in my own life. The first was when I went back to nursing school. Lisa was 2 and Chris was 5. Nursing school was all day, 5 days a week, plus additional hours of reading (good thing I'm fast!) and studying and writing care plans. People thought I was nuts to just work part time after I got my degree but I needed a break. And then I had a two-year period of full-time work as a hospice nurse (plus lots of on-call time). The kids were elementary school age like yours and so we also had the kid activities to add in. It was a crazy time. Now I'm happy to fritter away my days puttering about the house, playing with the dog and stirring things up on Facebook.

You'll survive this time because you are wise enough to at least try to plan for the occasional nap and fun on the weekends. That was my downfall.

I didn't even read your schedule, because I have no time in which to read things other than text books. I count the minutes until it's bed time just so I can get a few other tasks done that I couldn't otherwise manage with the kids around. I savor the moments when I wake up *alone* in the morning when I can actually think my own thoughts and read my schedule for the day. I don't have a husband, full or part time, thankfully. If I did, I'd try to add him in as another colored bullet point in my schedule and feel guilty about moving his time to xx:35 instead of xx:30 because I needed to take a shower or something trivial.
It will get better. I know it! In the meantime, be glad you have drive and passion to get it all done.

Ah, so he wasn't with them as of the 10th. I only knew about from the 12th on. I saw them on New Year's Eve and everything seemed fine so it's mind-boggling to me that this all came about so quickly. I am 100% with you...I just want them to acknowledge the situation, even if they tell a fib in doing so. The silence is slowly killing me, as it were.

I started to watch the live streaming concert they did over the weekend. They started out with "Sunday Morning" and Adam introduced PJ the exact. same. way. he always introduces Jesse. I about flipped my wig. I shut the window and refused to watch any more. SO not cool. It's really harshing my buzz. I want them to resolve this. I don't like being upset with them.

Thanks for reading!

Saw maroon 5 in Detroit at a private party and no Jesse! That was January 10. Was really bummed out. And Adam, I dearly love the guy, should just give a simple "hiatus" answer. I wonder if Jesse's not up for the popularity "the voice" is bringing. Seems like something he may not agree with? But I will forever be a fan. I do miss "Mr. Jesse Carmichal". It was evident that Adam clearly missed Jesse. He kept introducing "mr. James valentine". Caught himself though. Love that I'm not the only one in the world wondering.

HA I have to say....that when I read your take on it - so many more thoughts come in my head - and I totally agree with each point you've made! LOL Perhaps that's why I've not linked or shared the video on my own facebook wall...

I do like the fact that he's taking a stand and considering the temper I think he was restraining - I'm thinking this fell under 'should have thought before I acted'.

Chris: Dear Mama
Lisa: Big Yellow Taxi

I used to have the I Love Lucy theme song as my default on my old phone.
